Booking email privacy policy

This notice describes the Google connection used by Coastal Current Booking Emails, operated for Coastal Current Bike Rentals, LLC.

Access and purpose

An authorized operator grants the service permission to send email from the business Gmail account. The service uses the Gmail API's send-only permission. It does not request access to read incoming email, contacts, Google Drive or calendar data.

The service sends booking confirmations and operational notices to the booking contact and authorized dashboard users. Messages can include names, contact details, reservation dates, delivery addresses, booking references, payment amounts and private waiver links. These details come from the booking system.

Storage and sharing

Google authorization credentials are kept in protected server-side storage, including encrypted deployment secrets. The booking system records notification status, recipient information and message identifiers so authorized operators can track delivery and avoid duplicate notices. Google processes outgoing messages and retains sent-message copies in the connected Gmail account.

Cloudflare hosts the booking service and its operational records; the Oracle development host supports administration and protected backups. Access is limited to authorized business operators and technical administrators. The connection does not use Google data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train AI models.

Coastal Current Booking Emails' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Disconnecting and retained records

The account holder can revoke access through Google Account connections. Revocation prevents the service from obtaining new authorization to send email. Contact Coastal Current to remove stored connection credentials.

Disconnecting does not erase emails already sent or the booking system's existing reservation and notification records. This email connection does not apply a separate automatic deletion period to those business records. These pages contain no forms, advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare serves the pages and may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure them.
